Choosing where to celebrate the passing of 2011 is by means no easy feat. Apart from selecting a bunch of highly energized friends with the stamina to plough through drinks with you for the night, more importantly one needs to have a good dinner to end off the year.
My friends and I decided to have a nice dinner at Bistro Soori @ Teck Lim road. The chef had a special 7-course menu catered to this festive occasion, but what is more alluring is the fact that the bars are just a block away. The plan was to have some wine over dinner, following which we will trotter down to the bars in our inebriated state for even more alcohol. It’s all in the planning…
