Lobster-lovers are in a for a real treat this February, also the month of love, as the good folk at Mandarin Oriental Singapore showcase one of the most famous and fantastic crustaceans. Yes, from 7 to 21 February 2017, it’s an all-you-can-eat lobster-packed feast at Melt Cafe.
Besides the mighty fine chilled fresh seafood spread—featuring succulent Boston lobsters this period—that Melt does so consistently well, diners can also look forward to highlights such as Lobster Bouillabaisse, Lobster Bisque made even more flavoursome with a touch of cognac, delightfully local Lobster Laksa and even Chilli Lobster.
Personal picks include the simple but scrumptious Lobster Avocado Salad—umami from little bursts of roe do well to accentuate that delicate, sweetness of lobster flesh— and the finessed Lobster Thermidor that pairs surprisingly well with their crowd-favourite, fragrant Cheese Naan.
Adventurous guests may also go for their Lobster Bloody Mary, a Bloody Mary with a lobster bisque twist.
