Highlights include the moreish Pan-fried Shredded Abalone and Pork Dumpling to be enjoyed with black vinegar, as well as the Pan-fried Minced Pork Bun (Sheng Jian Bao). Executed to a lovely golden brown and topped with sesame seeds and spring onion, the crust retains a slightly chewiness and reveals a juicy center of flavoursome, moist pork.

My personal favourite was the Abalone & Taro Puff that’s brilliantly flakey and crisp on the outside, yet comfortingly smooth and just the right touch of oiliness, without being overwhelming, on the inside.

And if you’re still feeling hungry, we recommend Wan Hao’s signature Peking Duck. The crisp skin is expertly sliced table-side and served in traditional Chinese crepes, and the meat then prepared with your preferred rice or noodle dish.
