The Halia–‘halia’ stands for ginger in Malay–located within the Ginger Garden at the Singapore Botanic Gardens recently celebrated its 10th Birthday (which says a lot for a restaurant that isn’t exactly the most accessible) with a facelift and a new culinary team and menu.
While the The Halia continues to serve up its modern European cuisine with Asian touches, a signature Christmas menu – check out their menu on their Facebook page – has been made available this festive month of December 2011, look out for their Christmas Day Mega-Brunch!
The Christmas Day Mega-Brunch is a family affair with an extensive spread of over 40 items on the menu, featuring traditional classics, seasonal creations and an endless flow of wines and sparkling wines (with charges). Besides carving stations featuring turkey and lamb classics and “live” stations for pastas and eggs, guests can also tuck into signature creations from The Halia.
I’ve personally been down to The Halia after their recent changes, and am pleased to announce that quality & execution of dishes there are not lacking, so why not give it a try?
PS. There are coupon parking lots along Tyersall Avenue, and you may park for free after 6pm on the coach lots.
